Job Title: Urban Health Advocate

Our mission is to build a heart-healthy India by empowering patients and communities.

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Consultant – City Coordinators. This role involves planning and delivering heart health awareness events in government medical colleges, district hospitals, and public institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with State officials, District CMOs, and hospital administrators to establish strong relationships and manage permissions, approvals, and compliance for awareness programmes.
  • Align our activities with state NCD/CVD strategies and provide documentation to enable long-term collaboration.
  • Represent us in state or district-level consultations, workshops, and meetings when needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Strong networking, negotiation, and coordination skills with ability to navigate government processes.
  2. Prior exposure to organising community health events, awareness campaigns, or patient engagement programmes.
  3. 5–7 years' experience in public health, NGOs, CSR, hospitals, or development programmes.
  4. Demonstrated work with government health systems (NHM, NCD Cells, Medical Colleges, District Hospitals).

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Lived experience as a heart patient or having a close family member with heart disease, to bring authentic patient and family perspectives.
