Patient Counselor

As a Patient Counselor at Sudha Fertility Centre, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance, support, and education to patients undergoing fertility treatment. You will serve as a trusted resource, offering emotional support, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that patients feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their fertility journey.

**Responsibilities**:
**Patient Education and Support**:

- Provide comprehensive information about fertility treatments, procedures, and protocols.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients experiencing stress, anxiety, or uncertainty.
- Address patient concerns and questions regarding treatment options, risks, and outcomes.

**Patient Consultations**:

- Conduct initial consultations with new patients to assess their needs, goals, and medical history.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team based on individual patient circumstances.
- Guide patients through the various stages of fertility treatment, including diagnostic tests, medications, and procedures.

**Communication and Coordination**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, coordinating appointments, tests, and follow-up care.
- Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff, ensuring that patient concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other members of the fertility care team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to optimize patient care and outcomes.

**Patient Advocacy and Empowerment**:

- Advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring that they receive personalized, compassionate care.
- Empower patients to make informed decisions about their fertility treatment options, including alternative therapies and support services.
- Promote a supportive and inclusive environment that values diversity, equity, and respect for all patients.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in counseling, patient advocacy, or healthcare administration, preferably in a fertility clinic or reproductive health setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of fertility treatments, reproductive medicine, and infertility-related issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards of care.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 per month
