Green Mobility Zone Professional

We seek a skilled professional to spearhead our Green Mobility Zone implementation initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of expertise in urban spatial planning, environmental science, and policy development.

  • Candidates should possess a Master's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience working on similar projects.
  • A strong understanding of urban mobility challenges, air pollution control measures, and electric vehicle policy integration is essential.
  • Excellent research, data analysis, and communication skills are required for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and policies related to urban design, air quality, and transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and operationalize a Low Emission Zone framework tailored for Mathura.
  2. Conduct baseline assessments of vehicular and industrial emissions in the city.
  3. Identify vehicle categories, emission thresholds, and compliance strategies for the LEZ.
  4. Propose monitoring mechanisms, including Vahan data, ANPR, and on-ground enforcement.
  5. Assess and recommend sustainable mobility solutions, such as EV adoption pathways, public transport electrification, NMT integration, and multimodal connectivity.

Required Skills:

  • Master's degree in environmental science, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working on urban spatial and/or environmental issues, preferably in air pollution control, EV policy integration, and urban design.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools (e.g., ArcGIS, R).
