Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist with 3+ years of experience in desktop support to join our global team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide round-the-clock technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals across various time zones.
  2. Monitor and respond to incidents via ticketing system within SLA timelines.
  3. Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues to other experts.
  4. Maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity.
  5. Collaborate with IT teams worldwide for coordinated support.
  6. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
  7. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely.
  8. Resolve user tickets related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
  9. Maintain logs of support requests, resolutions, and system updates.
  10. Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts.
  11. Escalate unresolved issues to other teams.
  12. Prioritize timely updates and patches for systems and applications.
  13. Train users on best practices for IT procedures.
  14. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with policies.
