Job Description

Position Title: Lead, Development

Location: Remote Position

Type: Regular, Full-Time

Objective:

Develop and implement an action-oriented annual fundraising plan to secure revenue for the organization's philanthropic efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a roadmap and strategy for fundraising with clear short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
  • Build a national network of diverse supporters to strengthen the existing network and add new champions and donors.
  • Develop a portfolio approach to fund raising to ensure effort and target distribution across different kinds of sources.
  • Proactively execute multiple aspects of the plan engaging high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations and other pertinent entities.

Requirements:

Master's degree in business, social sciences, or another related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience with social or development sector organizations is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

Leadership Skills:

  • Driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and get things done.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe.
