System Administrator - Event Management

Our organization is seeking a skilled ServiceNow system administrator to lead the implementation of ITOM event management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting ServiceNow ITOM event management and alerting systems.

  • Configure, implement, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM event management and alert management solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Administer the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability and efficiency for ITOM modules.
  • Develop and maintain event rules, alert correlation rules, and related workflows to streamline incident response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored ITOM solutions.
  • Integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow event management for proactive incident detection.
  • Perform system configuration, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to event management and alerting.
  • Maintain system documentation and contribute to best practices within the team.
Required Skills
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM event management and alert system implementation.
  • Strong administration and configuration skills on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with integrations between monitoring tools (like SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.) and ServiceNow event management.
  • Good understanding of IT operations processes and proactive incident management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
