Job Summary:

As a seasoned Ocean Freight Manager, you will oversee all ocean freight operations in the West region, ensuring compliance, service quality, and cost efficiency.

  • Drive revenue growth and optimize costs through strategic carrier relationships, vendor negotiations, and procurement rate analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to expand business opportunities, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase market share.
  • Lead a logistics team to foster engagement, build capabilities, and deliver high-performing results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in logistics, with regional or profit-and-loss responsibilities.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong leadership abilities.

  • Expertise in sustainability practices, international trade regulations, and customs procedures.
  • Experience in cost-optimization, process re-engineering, and change management projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage conflict and drive cross-functional alignment.
