Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled backend engineer to fill a key position within our organization. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in designing and developing high-quality backend services using TypeScript/Node.js.

  • This role involves implementing transactional business logic for financial flows (e.g. onboarding, withdrawals).
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries.
  • Integrating with third-party APIs securely (OAuth2, JWT) is also an essential part of this job.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs is required.
  • Candidates should be able to work independently and communicate clearly.
  • Experience with regulated systems (KYC, audit logs, compliance) is highly valued.
