Lead Intellectual Property Professional

The role of Lead Intellectual Property Professional is to oversee our intellectual property efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.

Additional qualifications such as WON, WIPO DL101, and DFSS would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing designs to identify potential intellectual property legal risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Developing search strategies for Freedom to Operate (FTO), State-of-the-Art (SOA), invalidation, opposition, and litigation purposes.
  • Performing advanced technology analysis, including competitive intelligence analysis and design protection across business units.
  • Collaborating with the IP attorney and legal associates to provide timely and accurate opinions.

Qualifications include a deep understanding of industry best practices, state-of-the-art tools for intellectual property searches, and experience working with multiple jurisdictions. A qualification in IP Law and a WON certificate would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be well-versed in digitalization, productivity enhancement, and Bill of Materials (BOM) reviews. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage projects independently.
