Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team full-time on-site in the Greater Kolkata area.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our business by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth communication.
This role demands strategic thinking and excellent execution skills to meet sales targets and support the company's growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities
- Research and analyze market trends to discover potential clients and untapped markets.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to generate quality leads and convert them into business.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective communication to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop sales plans and execute them to achieve or exceed set sales targets.
- Gather and share customer insights and competitive intelligence with the internal teams to help improve products and services.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and results, providing regular updates to senior management.
Proven experience in New Business Development, preferably in the IT or related industry.
Strong business acumen with solid skills in account management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines efficiently.
Masters or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience in the IT industry will be an added advantage.
