Job Overview:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and a Centre of Excellence to build a culture of continuous improvement, supporting ongoing manufacturing transformation.
  • Apply WCM practices to deliver better value and efficiency through complexity elimination and improved processes.
  • Develop and implement a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy, ensuring robust metrics for success.
  • Owning change initiatives from identification to delivery, via internal governance and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a standard world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants.
  • Work with teams and departments to devise new support materials, including training and systems enhancements.
  • Monitor project risks and identify potential problems, proactively finding solutions.
  • Evaluate business impact and project objectives, reporting on dependencies at all times.
  • Run programs, deliver coaching, and manage projects across plants.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and opportunities for improvement.
  • Pursue efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites, implementing lean methods for increased efficiency and throughput.
  • Owning change initiatives from evolution to project delivery, via internal governance and controls.
  • Benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs with plant teams.
  • Support operation in policy deployment, cascading KPIs and KRAs at business levels.
  • Risk assessments of processes and tasks, ensuring ongoing learning and development in Lean tools.
  • Coach and facilitate teams to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Managing cross-functional team members, excellent communication skills, and professional interaction with diverse partners and senior managers.

Desirable Skills:

  • Good honors degree in engineering discipline.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts, including Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping.
  • Strong analytical, project, and product management skills, translating business needs into operational requirements.
  • Facilitating and leading service improvement/workshops with business stakeholders, including experience in process/value stream mapping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • End-to-End Coordinator, accountable for ideas from inception to delivery.
  • Designing or implementing a continuous improvement framework and hands-on implementation of Lean solutions.
