About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee category management and sourcing initiatives.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing and executing short- to mid-term strategies for category plans, buying and maintaining key relationships with internal stakeholders, and directing sourcing resources to update and execute against category plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop category strategies, goals, and KPIs to optimize spend, reduce risk, and improve supplier performance
  • Influence business partner strategy and decision-making through market intel and data insights
  • Lead and coach sourcing professionals, creating consistent standards for outcomes and deliverables across teams
  • Drive Spend Under Management review to maximize sourcing impact to the business
  • Present impactful presentations influencing business strategies and decision-making

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Category management experience
  • Sourcing/Spend Analysis expertise
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
  • Complex contract negotiation
  • Project planning and presentation skills
