Job Title

A Lab Investigator is responsible for conducting laboratory analysis and monitoring of microbial cultures, samples, and new drugs using specialized computer software and various identification methods.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and executing trials, tracking environmental microorganism development, cultivating microbe cultures, developing pharmaceutical products, vaccines, medicines, and compounds such as antiseptics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering samples from various locations
  • Analyzing and interpreting data
  • Writing research papers, reports, and reviews
  • Staying current with scientific and research advancements
  • Ensuring accurate data recording in accordance with guidelines
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards
  • Inspecting food and drink manufacturing processes to detect potential contamination
  • Managing laboratories

The successful candidate will possess a strong educational background in microbiology, including qualifications like DNB/MD Microbiology or equivalent. Experience in managing laboratories and leading teams is also desirable.
