
Regional Business Growth Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Commercial Excellence Executive to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving business growth and improving commercial performance across the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer marketing, with experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive results. They will be able to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and opportunities, and develop targeted solutions to improve sales performance.
The Regional Commercial Excellence Executive will work closely with regional leaders, HO customer marketing managers, and field sales teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial initiatives. They will also collaborate with external stakeholders, including retail distributors, retailers, key accounts, and vendors, to drive business growth and improve relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels between the regional team and head office to maximize business opportunities.
- Data Analysis & Action Planning: Analyze sell-in/sell-out data to identify distribution gaps, threats, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions based on insights.
- Competitive Benchmarking: Track and report competitor activities, service models, and infrastructure regularly to inform business decisions.
- Coverage & Service Gaps: Identify gaps in market coverage and collaborate with field sales to address them, ensuring optimal sales performance.
- Sales Capability Building: Drive and implement sales capability initiatives to enhance field team effectiveness and support regional sales leadership in capability development and performance enhancement.
- Rural GTM Development: Partner with regional leaders to design and pilot rural Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies relevant to regional priorities.
- Alternate & Hospital Channel Support: Collaborate with expert and customer marketing teams to operationalize alternate and hospital channel GTM models.
- Commercial Excellence Initiatives: Drive SFA (Sales Force Automation) adoption and resolve related issues, ensuring DMS compliance and effective 'Ways of Working' with retail distributors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: MBA in General Management or Business Management.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience, with at least 1 year in customer marketing in the consumer industry, prior experience in a similar role preferred.
