Hotel Guest Room Service Coordinator Job Description

The Hotel Guest Room Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. This role involves coordinating with housekeeping staff, engineering, front office, and laundry to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Coordinate the cleaning of guest rooms, including assigning tasks to housekeeping staff and ensuring that rooms are cleaned and ready for guests by check-in time.
  • Work closely with engineering to resolve any maintenance issues affecting guest room cleanliness or comfort.
  • Collaborate with front office to ensure that all guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with laundry to ensure that linens and towels are delivered to guest rooms as required.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve guest room cleanliness and reduce waste.
  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure they meet hotel standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

  • Coordinating guest room cleaning and maintenance
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery
  • Developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Training and supervising housekeeping staff

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
