Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Room Preparation Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Run sold room reports to identify rooms that require attention\
  • Verify room status and determine discrepant rooms that require additional cleaning or maintenance\
  • Prioritize room cleaning tasks to ensure timely completion\
  • Update status of departing guest rooms to reflect their cleanliness and readiness for new guests\
  • Assist in managing daily activities and serve as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments\
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk\
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff\
  • Record, monitor, and update list of Do Not Disturb rooms to ensure guest privacy and satisfaction\
  • Ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time and assign rush rooms and previously on the Do Not Disturb list\
  • Complete required paperwork and follow all company and safety policies\
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information\
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests service needs\
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards and develop positive working relationships with others\
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others and prepare and review written documents accurately and completely\
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time\
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance\
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors\
