
Support Services Specialist

The Support Services Specialist plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our organization. This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing various departmental activities, ensuring seamless communication and support to management.
About the Job:This role requires an individual who can multitask effectively, provide exceptional clerical and administrative support, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects and activities as assigned by management.
- Maintain open communication with departments involved in assigned projects or activities.
- Handle incoming mail, faxes, and packages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Answer phone calls and assist internal and external guests with their requests.
- Prepare correspondence on behalf of the department, including emails and letters.
- Distribute outgoing mail and packages, and manage the email system for the department.
- Welcome visitors and guests, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
- Assist with various tasks and requests as needed.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date filing systems are maintained for the department.
- Manage office supplies and materials for the department.
- Report any safety concerns or hazards immediately.
- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as required.
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Education:
- Diploma or certificate in business administration or related field.
- Skillset:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with office software and equipment.
