Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development and preparation of working drawings for HVAC systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate HVAC working drawings per project standards, coordinating with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting layouts.
  • Resolve technical issues with site teams and maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs.
  • Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals, monitoring productivity and assisting in QA/QC processes.
  • Identify additional work and inform the Project Manager.
Requirements
  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required, with HVAC training certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC design (chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, smoke control) and familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence requirements.
  • Proficient in HVAC calculations and software (e.g., HAP), with Revit, Navisworks being a plus.
  • Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills, as well as understanding of related MEP systems.
