Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
HVAC Project Design Engineer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development: -
Design and develop HVAC systems mainly VRV , including layout, sizing, and selection of equipment, to meet client requirements and industry standards. - Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations for VRV systems, including ductwork, piping, and controls. - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure integration of HVAC systems with other building systems.

2. Load Calculations: -
Perform heating and cooling load calculations to determine the required capacity of HVAC systems. - Select and specify HVAC equipment, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and pumps, based on client requirements and industry standards. - Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, such as ASHRAE, LEED, and IECC.

4. Project Management: -
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. - Coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure successful project execution.

5. Collaboration and Communication: -
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architectural, electrical, and plumbing engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions. - Please communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to make sure that design intent and project requirements are clear.

6. Quality Control and Assurance: - -
Review and verify designs, calculations, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. - Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.

7. Continuing Education and Professional Development: -
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and emerging trends in HVAC design and engineering. - Participate in professional organizations, conferences, and workshops to maintain and enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in HVAC project design.

Technical Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, designs, and controls.

  2. Familiarity with HVAC equipment, such as VRV, and air handling units.

  3. Understanding of refrigeration systems and thermodynamics.

  4. Proficiency in designing and analyzing HVAC systems using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or HVAC design tools.

  5. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE 90.1).

  6. Experience with building management systems (BMS) and control systems.
