Chapter Area Lead: A Key Role in Software Development

We are seeking an experienced Chapter Area Lead to spearhead our software development efforts. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering and a proven track record of leading technical teams.

The Chapter Area Lead will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap for our software development teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise data standards and modernisation priorities. This includes cloud-first and AI-enhanced solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

The role involves paving the way for squads to deliver autonomously at pace, removing technology blockers, decoupling applications, and streamlining processes. The Chapter Area Lead will also work with teams to identify the right technologies and ensure sound architectural decisions that support business objectives.

In addition, the Chapter Area Lead will drive operational excellence, support mission-critical production services, and collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the technical roadmap for software development teams
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and modernisation priorities
  • Pave the way for squads to deliver autonomously at pace
  • Remove technology blockers and decouple applications
  • Streamline processes and drive operational excellence
  • Support mission-critical production services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Large-scale distributed systems, Microservices, and Rest API Integration
  • Cloud - AWS large scale data warehouse implementation experience
  • Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions
  • Ai/ML and Gen Ai applications
  • Building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks
  • Agentic AI systems using AutoGen, CrewAI, Pydantic, or similar frameworks
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript or C#)
