Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced AML Compliance Professional to lead a team of investigators and drive the development of our AML programs.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of 10 investigators responsible for supporting AML Alert Assessment and Case Investigations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of alerts and cases.
  • Provide expert guidance on investigations, compliance processes, and regulatory issues, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, evaluate existing controls, and identify areas for improvements, driving process enhancements and efficiency gains.
  • Assist direct reports in identifying and analyzing alerts/cases patterns and trends, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Recent experience managing operational teams, with a proven track record of leadership and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using AML Monitoring systems and related software, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to produce written summaries, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field involving intensive research, writing, or data analysis, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to financial Crimes Compliance, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), financial crime investigations, law enforcement, Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US PATRIOT Act, or fraud.
