Job Title: Field Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Quality Plans: Create project-specific field quality plans, ITP, SOP, checklists, and method statements to ensure compliance with corporate quality management systems, regulatory standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of materials, work activities, and installations to verify adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor Project Activities: Supervise civil construction activities, electrical and mechanical components installation, and commissioning activities for wind and solar projects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify and Resolve Non-Conformities: Document and resolve non-conformities, lead root cause analysis (RCA), and drive corrective and preventive actions to maintain quality excellence.
  • Maintain Quality Records: Manage inspection reports, checklists, test certificates, and quality records for audit compliance and provide daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in site project quality roles under Civil or Mechanical domains in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.).
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes, QMS, and awareness of relevant ISO/IEC standards in renewable energy projects. Hands-on experience using quality tools, problem-solving techniques, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Personal Qualities: Passion for renewable energy and commitment to quality excellence.
