Battery Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Battery Systems Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of battery systems and inverter solutions. This role involves collaborating with R&D, production, and quality teams to deliver efficient, reliable, and cost-effective energy storage and backup power products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop battery packs, BMS (Battery Management Systems), and inverter systems.
  • Work on electrical schematics, circuit design, and mechanical integration.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, performance, and efficiency standards.
  • Conduct performance, safety, and reliability testing for battery and inverter products.
  • Analyse test data and recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoot product issues and ensure resolution.
  • Support manufacturing teams with technical inputs.
  • Develop testing protocols and quality control standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for component selection and validation.
  • Stay updated on latest trends in battery technology, inverters, and renewable energy systems.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance product efficiency, cost, and durability.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Electronics.
  • 2-5 years of experience in battery technology, power electronics, or inverter systems.
  • Strong knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, BMS, and charging systems.
  • Understanding of power electronics, PCB design, and inverter topologies.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools, MATLAB, PSpice, etc., and CAD software.
  • Soft skills: problem-solving, teamwork, analytical thinking, and good communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with solar inverters, EV batteries, or renewable energy systems.
