About the Role

You will oversee land acquisition activities for Wind projects, reporting to the Head of Project Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project development, collaborate with departments for land acquisition and related tasks.
  • Identify suitable developers/aggregators for wind energy projects.
  • Ensure adherence to statutes and regulations.
  • Assess risks in land acquisition and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Lead legal due diligence and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless land acquisition.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination to meet project timelines.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to land acquisition.
  • Develop project plans and schedules.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in land acquisition involving Revenue/Private/Forest Land.
  • Minimum 12 Years of hands-on experience in Land procurement/acquisition for Wind and/or solar projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of government policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with land acquisition processes and laws.
  • Ability to conduct preliminary due diligence checks and assess land risks.
  • Proficiency in identifying suitable developers/aggregators.
  • Proven ability to secure lands within targeted timelines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
