Project Director Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead the development of renewable energy projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • B.E. degree in Civil/Mech/Electrical Engineering with 13-15 years of experience in a relevant profile.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in completing the full life cycle of solar, wind, BESS, or hybrid projects.
  • Regulatory awareness and understanding of technical and commercial aspects of renewable energy.
  • Strong process orientation, risk assessment, and project management skills are essential.
  • Ability to develop C&I projects from inception to IC readiness, ensuring adherence to timelines and project schedules.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and evaluating vendors related to project development and managing empanelment based on experience and market feedback.
  • Conducting due diligence of project sites for suitability, including connectivity timelines, resource mapping, and technical specification assessments.
  • Managing all related documentation for the project, including contracts, land documents, cost models, and tariff-return scenarios.
  • Performing regulatory diligence based on state/CTU guidelines for Connectivity, Group Captive, etc.
  • Managing vendor-related transactions, including land advances and resource estimation.
  • Expediting project roll-out activities, including land acquisition, procurement, contract execution, GST registration, and secretarial work.
Key Requirements

A successful Project Director should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certified Professional in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Sound knowledge of project lifecycle phases, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software applications.
