Job Overview

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Technical Expert to join our team. This role involves working on the verification of telecommunications networks and systems.

  • Develop and implement test strategies, create comprehensive test plans, and automate test cases.
  • Work extensively with RHEL and Unix-based operating systems, including scripting expertise.
  • Gain hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud security.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of OTN, DWDM, SDH/SONET, Ethernet & GMPLS transport protocols.
  • Conduct thorough tests, analyze results, diagnose issues, and report bugs efficiently.
  • Work with databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive QL.
  • Enhance analytical and debugging skills for complex system troubleshooting.
  • Improve verbal and written communication for technical documentation and customer interactions.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in an Engineering stream.
  • At least 10 years of previous experience in telecommunications network and system verification.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Programming skills (Python, Java, SQL).
  • Exposure to technologies like DWDM, CWDM, SONET, OTN, Ethernet, IP, GMPLS.

Prior experience in Jenkins, Ansible, etc., would be beneficial.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently and effectively within a team.

Experience in testing web-based applications, client-server applications, and using Jira or equivalent tools is desirable.
