Embedded Systems Testing Specialist

As a testing specialist in the field of embedded systems, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality outputs by executing product firmware testing with laser focus on quality and adherence to project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute test activities for sustenance releases to address field issues, feature enhancements, and critical defect fixes through a mix of white box and black box testing.
  • Contribute to develop and manage test automation framework for utilizing various optical instruments using third-party vendor libraries and build product drivers and test cases from scratch for optical performance tests.
  • Strategize with HW, ASIC, FW, ODVT, and SW teams and proactively derive practical fixes which need to be merged into development codebase to create sustenance releases.
Qualifications:
  • BS/MS with 2-5 years experience in the area of telecom product testing in testing embedded telecommunication systems, transponders, muxponders, ROADM, DWDM technologies, and relevant standards (OTN, SONET, SDH, ETH).
  • Experience in working in a cross-functional product development environment involved in testing carrier-class telecommunication products.
  • Experience in developing test strategy, test plans using system requirements, participating in requirement reviews, design reviews, and test plan reviews.
