ICT & Telecommunications Engineer Job

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced ICT & Telecommunications Engineer to lead the ANZ Technology Systems iCRC Team on a permanent staff basis.

You will be joining a growing Technology Systems team and helping deliver leading edge technology solutions to various clients across multiple sectors including Healthcare, Commercial Developments, Data Centres, Aviation and Transport Infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility as a Team Lead - ICT & Telecommunications will be to oversee a team of engineers and designers based in the iCRC as part of the Technology Systems ANZ Team. This includes attending team leads meetings, assisting in training and development of staff, undertaking quality assurance of all documents and contributing to the development and publishing of telecommunications designs.

You will be responsible for detailed Quality Reviews for work developed within the iCRC. The successful candidate will also be required to mentor junior and graduate engineers and work within a multi-disciplinary design team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ICT and Telecommunications design utilising standards such as BICSI, ISO, IEEE and Cisco networking guidelines. You will need to have detailed knowledge of network design principles and significant experience working within critical environments.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical strategies that align with business objectives. This includes preparing conceptual reports, telecommunications scheme designs, project documentation, specifications, contract schedules and costings to client requirements.

You will also be responsible for overseeing the preparation of reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to enable the tendering of works to enable a suitably qualified integrator / contractor to undertake the installation and commission of the systems and solutions.
