Payroll Leader Position

Key Role Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Leader to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of payroll support consultants, providing expert guidance on Oracle Cloud Payroll and HCM solutions, and delivering high-quality managed services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Payroll functionality, including configuration, processing, and troubleshooting. Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of payroll support consultants, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Work closely with the UK Payroll Support Lead to align on service processes and client priorities
  • Provide expert guidance on Oracle Cloud Payroll and HCM solutions, including configuration, processing, and troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring responsive and proactive support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and internal tooling to drive scalability and efficiency

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience delivering or supporting UK Payroll, including full lifecycle implementations
  • In-depth knowledge of HCM/Payroll processes, configuration, legislation, and reporting
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver practical, value-driven solutions with creativity and innovation
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, including mentoring and collaboration

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Broad experience with Oracle Applications, including other HCM or ERP modules
  • Familiarity with Oracle Redwood UX and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
  • Exposure to payroll in different legislative regions
