Job Summary

As a member of our payroll/expense/accounts payable team, you will help manage and administer timely, accurate, and efficient processing of our payroll operations. You will maintain payroll account ledgers, prepare reports, resolve payroll discrepancies, and perform routine internal audits. In addition, you will focus on recording and analyzing financial transactions, receiving and paying invoices, and preparing analysis and account reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our finance operations team manages the financial risk of our organization through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As a part of our team, you will assist us with reporting, business operations, domestic and international accounting operations, and reconciliations, as well as finance strategy.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in payroll issue resolution and knowledge in multi-state tax, emphasizing the following areas:
    • Being resourceful and creative problem solver - constructively working independently and with team members to find solutions; utilizing standard suite of work solutions.
    • Understanding multi-state taxation, tax payments/deposits, and year-end reporting (W-2, W-2c, etc) as well as federal and state regulations.
    • Understanding daily payroll department operations and industry-leading practices.
    • Accurately analyzing and reconciling payroll activity, identifying possible issues, making recommendations, and supporting conclusions.
    • Working knowledge of ADP and/or Workday and able to assist in maintaining vendor relationship.
    • Building knowledge and skills to continuously develop customer service, teaming, and reporting skill sets.
    • Analyzing data and creating data insights to drive decision-making by leveraging various tools.
    • Being organized with high attention to detail.
    • Demonstrating ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Being a team player who is able to work in a virtual/global team.
    • Interacting with other departments to resolve data discrepancies and establishing proper documentation is prepared.
