Job Title: Agile Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and manage all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective for multiple agile teams.
  • Ensure strong agile fundamentals within the teams and adherence to Scrum principles and SAFe methodologies.
  • Drive alignment and effective communication between Product Owners, engineering teams, and leadership to ensure shared understanding and common goals.
  • Communicate delivery status, impediments, and critical decisions required to support project execution to leadership.
  • Lead technical program discussions including architectural approaches and system design, articulating solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to co-develop and document proposed solutions ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Champion best practices for documentation to ensure designs meet requirements and facilitate ongoing maintenance and development of technical and regulatory solutions.
  • Document technical debt and health features in JIRA, ensuring visibility and accountability.
  • Finalize team commitments and sprint plans in collaboration with technical teams, setting realistic and achievable goals.
  • Assess feature readiness from a technical perspective for each Program Increment, driving PI Readiness activities.
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, facilitating communication and coordination for smooth progress.
  • Define and track key project milestones, managing the overall release plan.

Required Skills:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in an environment utilizing SAFe.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders including technical teams, product owners, and senior leadership.
  • Strong technical acumen to understand architectural approaches and system designs.
  • Proficiency in using agile project management tools like JIRA.
  • Aptitude for identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
