Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the execution of switchgear projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end project execution, from technical specifications to site coordination.
  • Study technical documents, including single line diagrams and GA drawings, to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • Prepare project schedules, material submittals, and progress reports to track project performance.
  • Supervise switchgear assembly, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials and components.
  • Conduct site coordination for installation, cable termination, testing, and commissioning of switchgears.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or on-site issues related to protection schemes or interlocking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2–7 years of experience in project execution or design of LV/MV/HV switchgear panels.
  • Hands-on knowledge of switchgear components and protection devices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of industry standards, including IEC and IEEE.
  • Familiarity with protection relays and circuit breakers.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, MS Project, and testing tools.
  • Good communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently at project sites or client locations.
