Job Purpose The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design development and execution of electrical systems and equipment in compliance with project requirements industry codes and safety standards The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable cost-effective and sustainable electrical solutions Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems layouts and specifications for projects Prepare single line diagrams SLD schematics load calculations and equipment sizing Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes IEC IS IEEE NEC etc Review vendor drawings technical documents and equipment specifications Support procurement by preparing technical requisitions and evaluating vendor offers Coordinate with civil mechanical instrumentation and project teams for interfaces Conduct power system studies short circuit load flow relay coordination etc using analysis software Oversee installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems Ensure project deliverables meet quality safety and schedule requirements Prepare technical reports documentation and participate in design client reviews Qualifications Requirements Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 3-8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within EPC oil gas power industrial or infrastructure projects Knowledge of electrical codes standards and best practices Proficiency in electrical design tools ETAP AutoCAD EPLAN or equivalent Experience with 3D modeling tools SP3D E3D or similar is an advantage Strong understanding of electrical equipment such as transformers switchgear motors cables and control systems Experience in site support testing and commissioning preferred
