Job Overview

This role is for a commercially astute and solution-oriented commercial finance professional to join the team.

This role plays a critical part in shaping commercial strategy, enabling profitable growth, and driving pricing excellence across the region.

A key responsibility will be to lead pricing evaluations, commercial deal reviews, contract profitability assessments, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and client value delivery.

The role will work closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders in finance, commercial, and operations teams to influence decisions and enhance commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Strategy, Deal Reviews & Commercial Governance:
  • Lead and manage the pricing lifecycle - from initial pricing strategy, rate card development, competitive analysis to pricing approvals.
  • Conduct deal evaluations, including pricing structure, profitability analysis, cost-to-serve, and risk assessment, to support commercial decision-making.
  • Own the client limit and property approval process, ensuring all proposals are financially viable and aligned with commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate with market and global teams to evaluate contractual terms, fee structures, and commercial clauses to safeguard margin and minimize risk.
  • Partner with procurement, legal, and business leads in negotiations to optimize pricing and commercial terms with both clients and third parties.
  • Strategic Business Partnering & Commercial Support:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights and actionable recommendations on commercial performance, pricing, and client profitability.
  • Support media, operations, and client service teams in designing financial models for new business pitches, pricing scenarios, and growth proposals.
  • Step in as a commercial lead when the Finance Director is on leave or unavailable, ensuring continuity in decision-making and commercial support.
  • Profitability & Margin Optimization:
  • Drive client-level profitability analysis, helping teams identify margin improvement opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting on key pricing KPIs, client profitability trends, and commercial risks/opportunities.
  • Support efforts to embed pricing and cost recovery strategies across markets.
  • Agility and Stakeholder Management:
  • Operate with a strong sense of urgency, delivering high-quality outputs for senior stakeholders under tight timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, especially when interacting with global and regional leadership.
