Director of Land Acquisition

We are seeking an experienced Director of Land Acquisition to spearhead our land sourcing and acquisition strategy.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • IDentify and evaluate land parcels in targeted micro-markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, landowners, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track market opportunities and upcoming transactions.
  • Conduct initial due diligence on land titles, zoning regulations, FSI potential, ready reckoner rates, and development control regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal analysts to prepare feasibility studies, financial models, and market assessments.
  • Evaluate the alignment of land parcels with our product design and business model.
  • Facilitate meetings between key stakeholders, including legal, finance, and management teams.
  • Ensure smooth execution of deals with legal counsel, consultants, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or investment.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and land acquisition processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing land transactions.
  • Established network with stakeholders in the industry.
