Job Summary:

  • Manage and lead teams for inverter maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement strategies, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inverter servicing.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and technical issues, maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor field service engineers and technicians.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet service agreements and targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.

Performance Metrics:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as system uptime, response time, and mean time to repair (MTTR).
  • Prepare regular service reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Analyze service trends and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and enhance product reliability.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key customers regarding service delivery and warranty claims.
  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, and technical teams to support new installations and commissioning activities.
  • Manage vendor relationships for spare parts supply and technical support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline.
  • Certifications in solar PV systems, power electronics, or inverter technologies are a plus.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in inverter or power electronics service management, preferably in solar or renewable energy sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing large service teams and multi-site operations.

Key Skills:

  • Deep technical knowledge of inverter systems and power electronics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service orientation.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with service management software and reporting tools.
