Global Financial Services Manager

Job Description:

As a senior manager in the Global Financial Services department, you will oversee the management of financial systems and processes. Your role will involve working with multiple ERP platforms, including SAP and Oracle, to ensure seamless operations and support for our global programs.

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including travel and expense, P-Card, AP reporting, problem solving, and administration support.
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial process improvements and new initiatives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Oversee month-end close processes, drive effective close procedures, and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
  • Troubleshoot AP-related system issues and drive a zero-defect mindset.
  • Support efforts to improve reporting capability and build knowledge of available reporting with all centers and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, or finance, and 11 years of varied accounting, information systems, or finance experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a span of control over 5+ resources.
  • Excellent problem-solving and written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills.
  • Highly motivated, highly analytical, and self-starter.
  • Ability to mentor other team members and work in a highly matrixed environment.

Skills:

  • Financial accounting systems experience in AP and/or GL within the SAP and/or Oracle platforms.
  • Handled a 5-member team in a large shared service and matrix organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills.
  • Highly motivated, highly analytical, and self-starter.
