Responsibilities Senior Manager - Accounting This role will be part of Enterprise Financial Services EFS This role will lead the shared services functions Account payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger Reconciliation Expenses Allocation Business Support teams Tax and Sox Compliance The role will be integral part of Enterprise Finance team and will entail managing a large team with several people managers reporting into this role This role will partner extensively with onshore stakeholders BU Finance team and PGS stakeholders Essential deliverables the section helps understand the job ownership and accountability- Manage delivery and ensure seamless timely accurate services per agreed service level agreements Ensure adequate remediation root cause analysis in case of service level miss with a proactive mindset to prevent from recurrence in the future Coach and mentor teams to ensure achievement of key result areas and high-level initiatives for the function Drive talent development initiatives to ensure employee engagement employee development which results in reduced attrition and developing staff capabilities Focus and deliver various initiatives leading to execution of Enterprise initiatives and cost optimization strategies Partner with stakeholders understand their requirements and deliver solutions and projects per their expectations Lead projects at Enterprise Financial services Level and bring EFS strategy into action Actively provide feedback to influence and improve functional strategy Direct and supervise continuous improvement projects to automate and streamline processes and improve team capacity and productivity Work with Risk management team to strengthen the first line of defense Actively consult stakeholders on industry GCC best practices and improve shared services function Work proactively and create a roadmap to transform shared services into Center of Excellence CoE Model with end to end ownership and accountability Leadership at Principal As a leader at Principal you are responsible for driving our strategy meeting evolving customer needs and creating an inclusive culture Our Leadership expectations are our guide to the standards expected from all our leaders Our leaders need to be a positive brand ambassador of our core values and purpose They need to understand our code of conduct and know the responsibility to comply They stay respectful of diversity and differences and work towards building inclusive teams and partnerships Qualifications Qualifications-Certifications-Relevant Work Experience Preferred educational background Master s degree Professional Degree Relevant Industry Certification Preferably Chartered Accountant Final Intermediate level Proven track record of working in complex Finance Accounting function for medium large scale operations knowledge experience of transitions and transformation process digital etc for Finance Accounting domain Advance Excel MS Office financial reporting applications skills and experience Must have a good knowledge and experience of working in Operational Excellence environment as Project Lead certification in any of the improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma etc is preferred Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire others Total years of industry experience Minimum 15 years experience with at least 10 years in BFSI Industry and the last 5 years in the GCC set up team management experience of atleast 80-100 people Additional Information Reporting Relationships This role reports to PGS Head of Enterprise Financial Services Flexibility Option and Base Location Principal offers modern hybrid working arrangements that allow all employees to adapt to changing work preferences Flexibility Option for the role Hybrid 3 days in-office with flexible work hours Shift Flexible shift and at least 4 hours of US time zone overlap at all times Base Location Pune Hyderabad India
