Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.
  • Oversee the effective utilization of resources including manpower, machinery, and materials to minimize downtime and maximize output.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and safety norms.
  • Bring new business opportunities to the plant by working closely with business development and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments like procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operational workflow. Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management.
  • Oversee the activities and performance of managers and staff at all levels, driving accountability and high performance.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance productivity and operational performance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience in manufacturing operations (Machine Shop, Assembly Line, Paint Shop) with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP implementation and usage is highly desirable.
