Commercial Banking Expert

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking professional to join our BFSI practice team. This individual will act as an advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights and domain expertise across commercial banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for BPS function.
  • Drive, support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., process reengineering, automation, workflow orchestration) in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to one or more areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, client onboarding from operations standpoint.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks.
  • Global exposure (UK, US, APAC, or Middle East banking regulations and practices)

LSS trained or certified
