As a senior business development professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategy and execution of SME businesses in the region, aligning with established targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve divisional objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Support workforce planning by providing departmental forecasts and analyzing market trends.
  • Manage operating frameworks, provide guidance, and ensure process implementation for high-performance standards.
  • Execute yearly business development plans for SME clients, ensuring alignment with bank strategy and customer needs.
  • Achieve target budgets for new and existing clients, manage related financials, and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Articulate region-specific growth strategies for various products, liaising with Product Development Teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage people and teams, including career management, coaching, and mentoring critical talent, and develop a continuous talent pipeline for key roles.
  • Formulate recruitment and resourcing strategies to meet business needs and review and coordinate quality principles and processes.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in management initiatives and maintain stringent fraud control policies and minimize non-performing assets.
People Management Responsibilities:
  • Monitor goal achievement and implement performance management processes, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities:
  • Implement risk-related policies and processes, ensuring regulatory and internal control compliance, and review internal control systems and take corrective action based on audit findings.
