Energy Markets Consultant Job Description

The Energy Markets Consultant role is a key position within FutureScaleX's energy practice, driving research and consulting engagements in energy markets.

This high-impact opportunity enables you to shape the company's energy business from the outset by providing insightful analysis and actionable recommendations to clients.

  • Support primary and secondary research efforts for ongoing projects, developing and maintaining research models, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Synthesize research findings for client-ready deliverables, presenting project analysis to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development activities by assisting in proposals, discovery documents, blogs, and white papers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, reinforcing FutureScaleX as a trusted advisor in the energy market.
  • Support internal ideation, brainstorming, and research efforts for concepts and market validation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or economics with 3-5 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in power, oil and gas, or new energies (Hydrogen/CCUS).
  • Proven experience as an analyst or consultant, ideally in management consulting, market research, or an advisory firm.
  • Strong storytelling and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
