Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial and Contract Manager to oversee the opportunity close process, working closely with sales and pre-sales teams from a commercial perspective for proposals, approvals, and contract management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial management within a B2B environment, preferably with US, UK, and EU clients. They will also have a proven track record of driving commercial success, demonstrated experience in negotiating commercial agreements, and strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Closure Support: Oversee the opportunity close process, working with sales, pre-sales teams, and collaborate with legal and finance for revenue management and a faster deal closure cycle time.
  • Contract Management: Support the contract management processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency across the pipeline process, work with account management and legal for contract negotiations with new and existing clients, and oversee the entire contract lifecycle.
  • Commercial Strategy & Execution: Provide detailed analyses on commercial terms across contracts and scope of works, be the custodian of all renewals, and help oversee contractual obligations.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement, collaborate across teams on budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability, and manage commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial management within a B2B environment, preferably with US, UK, and EU clients.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial success.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Strong business acumen, legal/contractual clauses understanding, and deep understanding of the product/business model.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales and business intelligence tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Masters degree in Business, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
