Technical Author Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and revising Service Bulletins (SBs) for the Airbus STD SB Airframe, Hydro Mech & Cargo domain.

  • Creation and revision/legacy of Service Bulletin as per the requirements in the SBO.
  • Configuration analysis as per Airbus SB standard to identify the pre & post drawings.
  • Familiarization with Airbus standards of S1000D, iSpec 2200 and ASD STE – 100.
  • Perform Technical Analysis of the criteria and the related data source.
  • Knowledge of SAP PCS and Authoring Tools in SAMM DACAS, TAKSY, GIDOCA, GYPSY, Airn@V, ZAMIZ, PASS SSCI, APS.
  • Aircraft Zone and Access study to specify the work location.
  • Carry out precise sequence of the Authoring process described in the Quality Plan.
  • Estimate the timeline and make realistic commitment with the project leader.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Qualifications: B.E / B. Tech in Aeronautics or mechanical engineering with aeronautical engineering industry exposure or AME with Airline as well as SB authoring experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Active Participation in customer communication for any queries.
  • Analysis, Mock-up & Authoring in Arbor text or Epic editor for SB.
  • Maintenance of quality (RFT) and KPIs for the task assigned.
  • Management of workload and maintenance of OTD (on time deliveries) and quality.
  • Workflow process knowledge like quality check, INC & DCR.
  • Familiarity in root cause analysis like 5 Why and 8D method (NCR).
