Service Bulletin Author

We are looking for an experienced Service Bulletin author to create/revise technical documentation for aircraft programs.

About the Role:
  • Creation and revision of Service Bulletins as per SBO requirements.
  • Configuration analysis to identify pre- and post-drawings as per Airbus SB standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and revise Service Bulletins in accordance with S1000D, iSpec 2200, and ASD STE – 100 standards.
  2. Analyze technical data sources and perform critical evaluations.
  3. Utilize SAP PCS and SAMM DACAS tools for efficient authoring.
  4. Participate in customer communication and provide timely responses to queries.
  5. Maintain quality (RFT) and KPIs for assigned tasks.
  6. Manage workload and ensure on-time deliveries (OTD).
  7. Apply knowledge of workflow processes, quality checks, INC, and DCR.
  8. Familiarize with root cause analysis methods like 5 Why and 8D.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on aeronautical engineering industry exposure.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) certification with experience in airline operations and service bulletin authoring.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and revising Service Bulletins, proficiency in utilizing relevant tools and software, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
