Structural Repair Manual Author

As a Structural Repair Manual Author, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and revising technical documentation for various aerospace programs.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive repair manual content utilizing expertise in technical publications and training new colleagues.
  • Work closely with Airbus teams to ensure adherence to industry standards, processes, and tools.
  • Collaborate with Jr. Authors/Illustrators to develop and revise SRM IDs, providing guidance on technical competence and process adherence.
  • Deliver training sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of team members, focusing on both technical and procedural aspects.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and prevent future issues.
  • Design and create content for Knowledge and Training Sessions, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.

 

To excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in Aeronautical Engineering or related fields, along with hands-on experience in technical publications and training. If you are passionate about working with complex systems and collaborating with a team, this position is ideal for you.
