Key Account Development Manager

Drive business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities in public and private sectors.

  • Capture Strategies:
  • Develop winning proposals by teaming, pricing, and proposal development.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and assess client needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements and develop compelling proposals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review and qualify RFIs and RFPs, drive the proposal process, and ensure timely submission.
  • Prepare high-quality written proposals by developing concepts, gathering information, and writing engaging content.
  • Maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance expertise.
  • Apply industry knowledge to develop compliant and compelling content.
  • Conduct after-action reviews to document lessons learned and improve capture techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in capture management for federal or state procurements.
  • Successful track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the public sector.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of cost and financials.
  • Familiarity with GSA and other federal schedules.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., English, Journalism, Communications).
