Our accounting team is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the full spectrum of our financial operations.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Zoho Books. This role requires a proactive finance professional capable of handling multi-entity accounting, consolidations, compliance, and financial reporting, while supporting strategic decision-making through meaningful financial insights.

This senior accountant will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end accounting operations in Zoho Books.
  • Handling multiple accounts, branches, and projects with accurate consolidation.
  • Preparing and finalizing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
  • Managing cash flows and working capital effectively.
  • Performing accurate bank reconciliations and vendor/client reconciliations.
  • Monitoring accounts receivable and payable with timely follow-ups.
  • Ensuring compliance with taxation, statutory filings, and audit requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial insights.
  • Establishing and monitoring internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs.
  • Coordinating with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Supporting management in financial planning and decision-making.
  • Identifying and implementing cost control measures and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintaining proper documentation, ensuring data accuracy & confidentiality.
  • Demonstrating expertise in Excel for reporting and analysis.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.com).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end accounting operations, preferably using Zoho Books or similar cloud-based accounting software.
  • Strong proficiency in Zoho Books (or equivalent accounting software).
  • Working knowledge of taxation laws, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Familiarity with MIS reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control techniques.
  • Ability to prepare accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
