Job Title: Senior Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The position of Senior Financial Operations Manager is critical for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory and corporate policies. The ideal candidate is a qualified finance professional with deep experience in accounting, audit coordination, and financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
  2. Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  3. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
Audit Management
  1. Lead statutory and internal audits, coordinating with external auditors, internal auditors, and stakeholders. Handling Big 6 experience is preferable.
  2. Implement and monitor corrective actions arising from audit findings.
Compliance & Regulatory
  1. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other local laws.
  2. Prepare and file required financial documents, returns, and reports with regulatory bodies.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
  1. Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls for financial closure and ensure process compliance.
  2. Identify gaps in existing processes and drive automation and efficiency improvements.
  3. Automation of regular activities and optimize time management.
  4. Ensure adherence to corporate policies and accounting principles.
  5. Have a deep understanding of production processes, implement costing processes, and develop robust ERP Systems.
Budgeting & Forecasting Support
  1. Assist the CFO in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  2. Analyze variances and provide insights for cost control and performance improvement.
Team Leadership
  1. Lead and mentor the finance team across accounting, payables, receivables, and taxation.
  2. Foster a culture of accuracy, discipline, and continuous improvement in the finance function.

Requirements:

Education & Experience
  1. Certificate in Accounting or related field.
  2. 7–12 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and audit coordination in manufacturing entities.
  3. Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  1. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  2. Excellent understanding of audit processes and regulatory compliance.
  3. High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking.
  4. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Background:

  1. Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering-driven industry.
  2. Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, costing, and ERP management.
