Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead our data science team and drive strategic initiatives using cutting-edge analytics models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of data scientists, guiding them in developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions.
  • Project Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to drive business growth through informed decision-making.
  • Analytics Model Building: Design, train, and deploy statistical models utilizing machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data products with business objectives. Your primary goal will be to enhance our AI services by maximizing the value of client data.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify, develop, and implement innovative statistical techniques, algorithms, and deep learning/ML models to create scalable solutions addressing complex business challenges across industries.
  • Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Communicate findings effectively through actionable visualizations.
  • Collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop solutions for object detection/image recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, concept extraction, recommender systems, text classification, clustering, customer segmentation & targeting, propensity modeling, churn modeling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, marketing mix optimization, price optimization.
  • Build, train, and lead a team of data scientists.
  • Adhere to agile methodologies for delivering on project milestones.
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical fields.
  • 6+ years total experience with at least 3 years in a related position as a data scientist or business analyst building computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions for various business problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
  • Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages: Python, R, C, C++.
  • Strong individual planning and project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time.
  • Ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Strong influence and relationship management skills.
